Scott C. Burdge, DPM
Scott C. Burdge, DPM is a podiatric physician and board-certified podiatric surgeon through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. With over 26 years of clinical and surgical experience since 1995, Dr. Burdge has provided comprehensive foot and ankle care to the Katy community. He completed his surgical residency at the University of Texas at San Antonio Medical Center, recognized as one of the nation’s top programs for diabetic foot care, followed by a second residency at the VA Salt Lake City Healthcare System with a focus on sports medicine. Dr. Burdge maintains active surgical hospital privileges at Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital, Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Kingsland, and Methodist West Hospital. At Advanced Ankle & Foot in Katy, TX, Dr. Burdge provides foot and ankle care with a focus on thorough evaluation, clear communication, and treatment recommendations based on each patient’s needs.
Education and training: Dr. Burdge earned a Bachelor of Arts from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, then received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco in 1995. His postgraduate training included a residency at the University of Texas at San Antonio Medical Center, known for advanced diabetic foot care, followed by a second residency at the VA Salt Lake City Healthcare System that concluded in 1998. During that training, he worked alongside Dr. Michael Lowe, podiatrist for the Utah Jazz.
Credentials and hospital affiliations: Dr. Burdge is board-certified with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is experienced across podiatric surgery. He maintains hospital privileges in the Houston area, including Methodist West Hospital, Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital, and Memorial Hermann Surgery Center, Kingsland.
